释义 | magnet A piece of magnetic material (see magnetism) that has been magnetized and is therefore surrounded by a magnetic field. A magnet, often in the shape of a bar or horseshoe, that retains appreciable magnetization indefinitely (provided it is not heated, beaten, or exposed to extraneous magnetic fields) is called a permanent magnet .
